Monday Low pressure dominating over Ireland. Rain and showers across central Ireland, and heavier showers across the southern coast. Heavy showers and prolonged spells of rain in Scotland and northwest England. Drier and brighter in the Midlands, Wales, and southeast England with some sunny spells. Temperature highs of 22C in the south, and 18C in the north.
Tuesday Heavy and showery rain in the morning, with some thundery bursts mixed in across much of the British Isles. Affecting much of England, Northern Ireland and Wales. The heavy band of rain spreads northwards as the day progresses, affecting northern England, and reaching Scotland by the evening. Some thundery showers too in southwest England in the afternoon.
