Hard frost northern areas
Good morning,
High pressure is centred over southern Scandinavia, producing an east to south-easterly airflow across the British Isles today.
Generally dry but chilly with locally gusty winds. A weak warm front extends over southern regions of England & Wales, producing a lot of cloud here, tending to advance north & west through the day, and becoming increasingly hazy.
Brighter toward the north & north-west of Britain and Ireland, with good amounts of winter sunshine.
Today's top temperatures will be 3 to 5C in many places, but some Highland glens may stay sub-zero all day after a bitter start.
Have a great day. Garry
