Cloudy and Damp
Mild

Issued: 0530hrs Monday 19th February 2018
Duty forecaster: Matthew Hugo

Mostly cloudy and damp weather continues

Good morning,

It's a mostly cloudy and damp morning across most areas, especially so across northern and eastern areas, while drier weather is still present across parts of Ireland and other far western areas of the British Isles. Further low cloud and hill fog is expected in places, with misty and murky conditions.

Through the afternoon and many areas will be mostly cloudy, if not overcast with some patchy light or moderate, rain or drizzle at times and with some extensive low cloud and hill fog as well, especially across higher ground of the north and west.

Little change into Monday evening and overnight with many areas maintaining overcast and damp weather conditions with further rain or drizzle at times, along with low cloud, hill fog and poor visibility but a clearance to drier and clearer conditions will develop across W Scotland, Ireland and other western areas of England by the end of the night.
