Warmest south-east

Good morning,

A shallow area of low pressure is centred over northern Britain today. A slow-moving front lies from south-west to north-east across England & Wales.

Areas of rain or drizzle for central areas, amounts generally small, but a risk of some local heavy bursts spreading from the south-west. The far south-east should stay dry, although fairly cloudy, and quite humid.

Brighter skies for the west & north, but showers are likely, particularly Scotland and Northern Ireland, some local heavy and slow-moving bursts by afternoon. Winds fairly light across the country.

Today's temperatures will be 15 to 18C in the west & north, 19 to 21C in the Midlands, up to 23C in East Anglia.

Have a great day.
