Cloudy and damp in the west and north, tending to be drier in the east This afternoon sees the rain spresding across Ireland and into Wales and much of western England. Staying cloudy and damp in Scotland too. Tending to be drier in the south and southeast but rather cloudy here and the risk of a few spots of drizzle on windward facing hills. Tonighut is likely to be rather cloudy, damp and mild for most. Rain most likely to the west and south, especially on coasts and hills. Further cloud and outbreaks of rain for Scotland.
