Overnight wet and windy weather across E England will clear and then all areas having a drier and brighter spell before turning wet and windy from the west later

Good morning,

It's a wet and windy start across E England with residual overnight rain but this will clear away. Elsewhere some showers but otherwise a fair start to the day with some bright or sunny spells and another chilly start too across the north. Many areas having plenty of dry weather through the rest of the morning.

Wet and windy weather across many western areas of the British Isles will then steadily move eastwards during Tuesday evening and overnight into Wednesday but not reaching more southern and eastern areas of England until late in the night and into the early hours of Wednesday.
