Morning Call - March 23, 2017
Morning rain south
Drier elsewhere

Showery rain the south fading away, drier and brighter for most

Good morning,

A band of showery rain passes through central and southern England this morning, heading west into Wales and southwest England during this morning and this afternoon. It could become heavy on the hills, especially slopes facing eastwards. Some morning rain over northern England and eastern Ireland too, although this only light and patchy. This rain fading during the morning too.

This afternoon becomes brighter and drier for most with rain clearing through southwest England and southern Wales early on. Then becoming brighter and dry for most with sunny spells. Probably cloudier skies in northeast England and eastern Scotland but this will be breaking too.

Tonight brings the possibility of some rain affecting the far southern coasts of England. Elsewhere it should be dry with clearer spells. Breezy over southern England.
