Cloud and rain passing north with thundery showers following to the south

Good morning,

Get set for another unsettled day across much of the UK and Ireland. It will be feeling warm in southern and eastern areas. A front brings cloud and rain in Scotland, this heavy in the west. Drier to the south and north of this rain band.
 

Heavy showers developing in England, Wales and Ireland as morning rain in the west clears away. The showers could be thundery, especially in the west and south. Little change is then expected through this afternoon.

Cloud and more rain in northern Scotland tonight. Elsewhere there will be showers, some of them heavy and thundery once again.
