Strong winds
Heavy rain for some

Rather cool

Good morning,

Low pressure is centred over northern Scotland, producing a brisk westerly wind across the British Isles today, locally gusting over 40mph on some exposed western coasts.

Showers or longer spells of rain for northern & western areas, giving some heavy bursts at times. Rain is likely to extend east from Wales into the Midlands in the afternoon and early evening. Local thundery downpours are possible, accompanied by squally winds.

Meanwhile, south & south-east England should escape often dry with some sunshine, with showers passing through quickly.

It's going to be feeling cool, with temperatures only 14 to 17C in the north & west, up to highs of 18 to 21C in the south & east.

Have a great day.
Garry
