Sunny spells & dry
Feeling warmer too

A better day in the south and east, good spells of sunshine for all

Good morning,

After a cold and wet day for much of England yesterday, things are looking much better today. A ridge of high pressure is building through Ireland and the UK and this is bringing dry conditions for most.

Some good spells of sunshine away from the southeast to start this morning. Dry too and feeling warm in the sunshine. Little changes into this afternoon with further spells of warm sunshine and all areas staying dry.

Thicker cloud moves into western Scotland and western Ireland this evening, but elsewhere it stays dry with sunny spells and light winds.
