Warm south-east
Rain north-west

Light winds for most; sea breezes south

Good morning,

A rather benign weather pattern today, with slack pressure across the British Isles.

Much of England & Wales will see a fair day with sunny spells, typically best around the coasts into the afternoon. Winds will be light, with gentle sea breezes around southern coasts.

Fronts across the north-west bring outbreaks of rain to Northern Ireland and western Scotland, persistent for many hours in some places. A little rain or drizzle may also affect west Wales and north-west England at times, but amounts small. A fresh southerly breeze around the Irish Sea.

Today's top temperatures will reach 22 to 24C for east & south-east England, locally warmer. In the west & north, highs nearer 17 to 19C.

Have a great day.
Garry
