Morning Call - January 13, 2018
Wet West
Mainly Dry East

Issued: 0530hrs Saturday 13th January 2018
Duty forecaster: Matthew Hugo

Mainly dry for most, but with some wet weather across western areas

Good morning,

A misty and murky start to the day once again, especially across England and Wales with overnight mist and fog patches possible. It will be a wet start across Ireland, perhaps W Scotland, W Wales and SW England with some rain and drizzle here, along with a blustery S'ly wind.

Through the afternoon and not a great deal of change is expected with some residual mainly light rain and drizzle slow moving across W Scotland, down through Irish Sea regions, into parts of Wales and SW England. To the east of this area, so across much of England and E Scotland, it will be mainly dry with some bright or sunny intervals and variable cloud.

Rather cloudy and damp conditions will prevail across some western areas into the overnight period, but otherwise emphasis is on a lot of dry weather, especially across England and Wales with some mist and fog patches returning.

Matthew
