Friday
A fine morning in central, eastern and southern England with good spells of sunshine. Increasing cloud in more northern and western areas with rain extending through central Scotland to western Wales and the far southwest of England. The cloud and outbreaks of rain slip eastwards through the day, reaching northern England, the rest of Wales and southwest England by lunchtime. This afternoon sees outbreaks of light rain in the Midlands and northern England with drizzle and plenty of cloud in western areas and hill and coastal fog. Rain into the southeast by evening. Increasingly breezy with highs at 15 to 23C.


Friday Night
A mostly cloudy night with outbreaks of drizzle over northern and western hills and coasts. Patchy rain clears from southeast England and it turns drier here. Drizzle tending to fade from the west as the night progresses. Lows will be to around 12 to 16C.

 
 
 


Saturday
A northwesterly flow affects the whole of the UK and Ireland on Saturday. There will be some morning cloud and outbreaks of rain in the far southeast, although this clearing quickly. It should then be brighter for all with sunny spells and dry for many too. A few showers may be triggered over high ground and these could be heavy. Any showers fading later in the day as pressure builds in the west. Highs at 16 to 24C.


Sunday
A ridge of high pressure building through all areas on Sunday. This is going to be bringing a fair day with good spells of sunshine although some cloud may bubble up in the middle of the afternoon. A few spots of drizzle may affect the far northwest of Scotland and western Ireland in the afternoon. Cloud increases in southwest England later in the day. Highs at 15 to 24C.
