Plenty of showers
Overall most of the upcoming week is going to be unsettled with lots of showers and areas of persistent rain. While it won't be quite as hot or humid, it will stay warm with above average temperatures across England and Wales.

Tuesday 30/05/17 Rain across Scotland in the morning turns more showery in the afternoon with brighter conditions expected. Unsettled across England and Wales with a mixture of cloud, sunnier spells and showers, some of which look to be heavy in places. Expect high of 16 to 22C.
Wednesday 31/05/17 Across much of Britain it will be staying unsettled. Many areas to start dry but a number of showers tend to develop during the morning, becoming heavier in the afternoon. Most of the showers fade away in the early evening. Expect highs of 16 to 22C.
Thursday 01/06/17 An area of persistent rain may affect Scotland for much of the day. While the far south of England may have a dry day, most places will have another day of sunshine and showers, some locally heavy. A dry night to come. Look for highs of 17 to 23C. Friday 02/06/17 A warm day across England. An area of rain may linger across northern England and Wales today. Very showery across the rest of Britain. These showers heavy with a risk of thunder. Highs of 16 to 24C.
Saturday 03/06/17 Another warm day to come in the south. Occasional heavy showers to affect Northern Ireland and northern parts of Scotland. Largely dry across England and Wales with sunnier spells and some cloud. Highs of 16 to 24C.
Sunday 04/06/17 Not quite as warm today. It becomes windier in the north west with a band across western Scotland and Northern Ireland. Most parts of England and Wales will be fair and dry with lots of sunshine. Expect highs of 16 to 21C.
