Fronts move east, bringing increasingly heavy rain to central and eastern parts of Europe, the rain heaviest and most frequent towards the north.

Sunday
Dry across Spain and Portugal with plenty of hot sunshine. A few showers will affect the Balearics, Sardinia and Corsica but plenty of dry sunny windows too. A showery morning for central and northern Italy, mostly isolating to northeast areas where showers may be quite heavy and thundery. Afternoon showers spring up along the northern Balkan coast, most other Balkan countries staying dry. Greece and Türkiye stay dry and sunny too.
A weakening front will bring cloud and some patchy rain to north and west France. The south of France sees showers, these extending across the Alps into Switzerland and Austria where showers will be frequent and heavy. An unsettled day for the Netherlands with outbreaks of rain. This extends into northern regions of Germany with heavy, thundery spells. Southern Germany is dry with sunny spells. Quite hot with sun for Poland, Czechia, Slovakia, and Hungary, some rain and showers breaking out in western areas. Extensive sunshine from Belarus south towards the Black Sea.
Cloud and rain will affect Denmark. Staying windy across much of Scandinavia with outbreaks of rain through Norway, Finland and far northern Sweden. Central and southern Sweden will stay largely dry with some developing sunny spells. Sunny spells and showers affecting the Baltic States, driest with most sun in eastern areas.

Monday
Extensive hot sunshine across Iberia. The Balearics, Sardinia, and Corsica will see a few showery outbreaks, but mostly sunny otherwise. Some afternoon showers in coastal and upland areas of Italy, well scattered. Sun with afternoon showers across the Balkan States. Only a few showers in Greece, otherwise fine here as well as Türkiye.
A few early showers in south France but soon dry with increasingly sunny conditions. Scattered rain over the Low Countries, Germany, and the Alps in the morning, largely fading for a sunny afternoon; rain slower to clear northern Germany. Outbreaks of heavy, thundery rain in Poland, Czechia, and Slovakia. Rain more scattered in Hungary where it will be sunny and hot. Thundery rain in Belarus, west Ukraine and Romania, extending into Belarus but more scattered here.
Denmark and southern Sweden stay windy with scattered showers; plenty of bright spells too. Southern Norway is windy too, with gales along the west coast and more persistent rain. A band of thunderstorms drifts east across the Baltic States and central/southern Finland. Well-scattered showers in north Finland with sun spells.
