Heavy, thundery rain Iberia and central Europem fair in the north


Tuesday
Heavy thunderstorms in Spain and Portugal on Tuesday, a risk of flooding in places. Further showers may affect the Balearics. Corsica and Sardinia should be dry with sunshine here. Dry for most of Italy and sunny, but a few showers in the far north. Greece will be dry with sunny spells too. Further sunshine in Turkey.
Rain for the southern half of France, some of it heavy. Northern areas should be dry and bright with sunny spells here as well as being windy. Staying windy in the Low Countries with sunny spells. Fair across Germany and breezy too. Dry and fine in Poland, sunny and staying fair in Hungary too. Austria and Switzerland will have heavy showers or thunderstorms.
Sunny and dry in Denmark, this sunshine extends to Sweden. Finland will be breezy and cold as well as bring dry with sunny periods. Fair for most of Norway although some drizzly rain could affect the far northwest.


Wednesday
Heavy and thundery showers continue across Iberia. Tending to be drier in the far south of Spain and Portugal. Mostly dry for the Balearics. Showers developing in northern and eastern Italy, drier west and south. Greece and Turkey will be dry too with more sunshine.
Cloud and some outbreaks of rain in western and southern France, the rain heavy in northwest France. Windy in northern France and the Low Countries as well as the western and southern areas of Germany. Sunshine in the Low Countries, Germany and Poland. Fair for Hungary although some showers developing in Austria and Switzerland.
Lots of sunshine for Denmark. More sunshine through the Baltic States. Some cloud and rain in Finland. Broken cloud and some brightness for Sweden. Broken cloud with sunny spells for southern Norway. Wind and some rain in northern areas of Norway.
