Murky and drizzly southern England, rain in Ireland drier in the east
A cloudy morning through Ireland, Wales and southwest England. Scattered showery rain in central and southern England. Further scattered showers northern and eastern England and eastern Scotland. Drier western Scotland. The showers becoming more showery in eastern England and eastern Scotland through the morning.
This afternoon the showers continue in eastern England and eastern Scotland. Further cloud and some showery rain southern England. More persistent rain arrives in southern Ireland and murky and damp in southwest Englandwith drizzle and some fog over high ground.
Tonight sees the more persistent rain edging into western areas of Wales and England, some heavy. Dry in the east at first with the rain arriving in the early hours. Turning showers in the west later with the wind increasing too. Gusty winds accompanying the showers in the west.
