Cool and unsettled with showers and rain

A cold and damp morning to come across much of central and northern England as well as East Anglia and Ireland. Some brighter and drier weather in southern England but always shower is affecting southern coast, and it will be a windy morning to across southern England, southern Wales and west in Ireland. Drier for the far north of England and much of Scotland although cool here as well.

This afternoon sees the rain in northern England, Wales and parts of the Midlands continuing. Brighter and dryer in central and southern parts of England, although always a risk of showers in the south-east and the south-west. Sunshine and showers in much of Ireland but staying dry in central and northern Scotland, although some rain in southern Scotland. It stays windy in Ireland and Southwest England.

Remaining mixed tonight with further showers most affecting Winderwood coasts. Becoming drier in land.
